Level, Systems and Game Designer

Modding and Contributions

Throughout the course of my studies, I wanted to take a foot in the industry right away. Whether as a translator, graphic designer or tester. I also made a few attempts at modding, not always ending with a shipped product.

Modding

Company of Heroes 2

I made two mod maps for Company of Heroes 2:

Islands Slaughter (2015)

This map is made of a large amount of small islands linked by bridges which will have to be built by players to reach all the map’s corners. This is a full infantry map. Vehicles can be called but they will not be able to cross bridges. Retrospectively, I think it was a mistake to not allow vehicles onto the Islands, there should have been more granularity with the sizes to allow more variety.

Wet Meeting (2015)

This map takes place in a city drowned under the waters. Very few places are above water which implies a new difficulty : taking control of high locations.

Kickstarter Contributions

I contacted many studios Kickstarting their projects (as I imagined they would need help) to support them in many different ways. Often proposing QA, LA, Translation. I had a few informal meetings with some and it went slightly further with two of those.

THE SEED (2014-2015)

The SEED is a Graphic novel set in a post apocalyptic world, released in 2017. It was made by the Team who brought S.T.A.L.K.E.R. MISERY MOD to the world. The game is about choices and scarce resources. I surprisingly ended-up being really involved in the Development Team and was trusted to be in charge of:

  • Creating the Inventory Assets visuals.

POOP: The Game (2014)

POOP: The Game is a Cards game aimed at Kids. I was in charge of:

  • Translating the game into French.
